Advanced Loot Spots and Puzzles

It is undisputed that some loot spots are better than others in Arc Raiders. In this post I will cover some spots on Dam Battlegrounds and Blue Gate, which I like to frequent.

Dam Battlegrounds

Let us start with the map most people play at the beginning of their journey. The "Dam Battlegrounds" as a map with medium difficulty, it still enables you to find advanced loot.

One of the most contested spots to loot is the Research & Administrations building, it being a "red" zone, makes it possible to find high tier loot easily. What many people miss is the room that you have to breach into at the Floodgate bridges. There is usually a weapon crate, a couple of lockers and even one or two security lockers.

Next up is the Hydroponic Dome Complex, no discussion needed, it is a fabolous spot to find some high tier loot in a short time. What is often missed tho are the satelite dishes, on top of those you can find grenade tubes and medical boxes. The grenade tubes often yield some Wolf Packs.

Another great loot spot is the Power Generation Complex, more precise underneath it, there is a room which can only be opened with an energy rod. In the room you will find a coupel of lockers, where you can find rare blueprints and other epic lootables.

Last but not least is the Ruby Residence, even though it is but a common looting location, for some unkown reason it has an enhanced spawnrate of blueprints and is thus strongly contested, especially in night raids.

Blue Gate

Blue Gate is my favorite map, it is vast, has many puzzles, good pvp and most importantly high tier loot. Lets get started with one of the not so good puzzles. Our location, the Ancient Fort, located at the bottom of the map.

To do the puzzle you will have to search 3 fuel cells and then insert them at certain positions in the ancient fort, one such position is at the back of it, another at the staircase going up and the last one is in the fort in the middle where you can climb the ladder to the top.

Here are locations of where those fuel cells can spawn.

After inserting all three cells, the hatch on the east side of the fort will open up. After sliding down the ladder, you will be able to loot a weapon crate as well as other miscellaneous items. In my experience its not worth doing when playing solo as it takes quite some time to check each fuelcell spawn location, and then bringing them to their designated location.

Next up is the Raider's Refuge. For the puzzle at Raider's Refuge, you need to activate a total of four buttons. The spawn locations for the buttons are randomized, all over Raider's Refuge. Make sure to look around the building in tiny cracks in walls or behind some covers, at the rooftop, and inside as well as outside of the other building surrounding it. There are over 20 different spawnpoints for those buttons. The hatch leading down to the loot is located on the south-east side of the building.

As a crowning finale, we have the Reinforced Reception. After entering the Reinforced Reception, take the zipline going downstairs, once you are downstairs you will see a computer station at one of the pillars. Go up to it and activate it. For a short few seconds it will flash white lights and then either be yellow, red or blue. On the walls are markings with each of those colors, follow the markings that have the same color as the console displayed. At the end you will find a lootable container which will have high tier loot.

By following the blue markings to its end, you will also find a locked door. To unlock it, you need to insert three fuel cells, those fuel cells spawn randomly but together at either the entrance to the medical room, the staircase to the medical room, the room underneath the medical room or in the hallway leading further downstairs. Once you have located them, just bring them to the locked door and insert the fuel cells one by one. Behind the door is a weapon crate and other high tier loot waiting to be scavenged.
